Dal Khichdi ........ My kitchen

Dal Kichdi

After years of thought Finally I agreed myself to learn some cooking , So great chef and my master was none other than My dearest mommy…. J

My first dish she explained me the delicious dal khichdi, which is easy to prepare , nutiritious ,cooks fast and taste superb J

So lets start with the Ingredient and then cooking procedure.

Ingredient :

  1. Rice
  2. Potato
  3. Green peas – (Hara mutter) ( Refergerated Peas you can get in stores)
  4. Raher Dal – (2 Mutha)
  5. Garlic – 1+/Mirchi / Lehson

Cooking procedure:

  1. Wash dal
  2. Add dal + salt + haldi to cooker.
  3. cook for few minute. You can stir from outside. (1/2 litre + dal)
  4. Add Mutter + potato
  5. Add (garlic+mirchi) paste
  6. Add washed rice
  7. Add salt – (3-4 small spoon ) – As per taste
  8. Wait for (2-3) whistle from cooker.

So finally Dal khichdi is ready ,I got to taste first. how it is J he he he.

Dal khicdi can be served with pudina chutiney and onion raitha .
